Proper nutrition is a key component to encompassing a healthy lifestyle. It is important that every individual be recognized as having different health and fitness needs. Our nutritionist will work with you to develop customized programs to reach your goals. Examples of these programs may include:

Initial Consultation

In this initial 60 minute session, our nutritionist will work with you to reach your overall health and wellness goals through a comprehensive diet, medical, lifestyle and exercise evaluation.

Follow-up Sessions

In these 35-45 minute sessions, our nutritionist will work with you to develop skills and strategies to attain your very specific health and wellness goals.

Metabolic Rate Analysis

Using cutting-edge technology, you will learn how many calories you burn each day and how many you need to reach your weight and fitness goals.

The Fast Track Program

This 6-week program includes a comprehensive nutrition consultation, a metabolic rate assessment, 5-weekly follow-up sessions, and our customized menu design program, Target Weight, from the CLAY Café. You will be meeting with our nutritionist weekly to make any adjustments to your plan and/or menu design so that you reach your goals appropriately. Whether you are preparing for an upcoming event or just need a jump start, this program will fast track you to a healthier lifestyle. **cost of food is not included

Market Tour

With the abundance of products and product advertisement, a trip to the market can be daunting. This 90-minute service is designed to teach you how to accurately interpret your grocer’s shelves. In this outing, our nutritionist will help you decipher nutrition labels, differentiate between similar products, and determine the most valuable foods for your individual needs.

Kitchen Renewal

A healthy home is part of a healthier lifestyle. Learn what to add and what to get rid of in your pantry. In this 90-minute home visit, our nutritionist will work with you to clean out and restock your kitchen, talk with you about recipe alternatives, and suggest foods that you and your family can integrate into your meals.

Chirsty Maskeroni, Director of Nutrition

As the Director of Nutrition, Christy Maskeroni takes CLAY’s mission of integrated wellness to the next level. With a strong background in nutrition science, nutrition education, clinical nutrition, community nutrition, and exercise physiology - she works extensively with individuals to improve their overall health. Whether the goal is weight loss, weight gain, disease prevention, stress reduction, or sports nutrition; Christy will help you find the most optimal balance for your individual lifestyle. As a trainer, Christy has dedicated the last several years to developing strength and cardiovascular training programs for her clients at CLAY. With the support of each trainer, instructor, and staff member, it is her intent to provide customized nutrition and fitness programs for individuals inspired to reach a new height of health and wellness. She also collaborates with the Café Manager to develop healthy, optimally balanced menus, meals, and snacks for members and guests of CLAY. She truly believes that nutrition and exercise are key components in achieving your ideal health.

Christy Maskeroni holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and Applied Physiology from Columbia University, Teachers College and is a Registered Dietitian. She is an active member of the American Dietetics Association (ADA), Greater New York State Dietetics Association (GNYSDA), Nutrition in Complimentary Care (NCC), and Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutritionists (SCAN). Christy is also a certified Personal Trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, including Pre/Post natal certifications.
